It’s called Aquagems, and apparently, you soak it in water for 6 hours and it turns into this stuff.
The website that I found this stuff on, here, says that it can be used in flower arrangements. It stores, and then releases water to plants that need it. I wrote here about looking for something that would fill the bottom of my centerpiece vases...wonder if this could be it? I was thinking a nice green color...but the onyx kinda looks cool.
Has anyone out there ever heard of or used this stuff? I’m wondering how good it looks in person, and am leery of spending $7 to find out...then again, it’s only $7, right?
