Meredith and Robert - Wedding

I don’t know about you, but as a bride, I went through several phases where I didn’t really want to look at bridal stuff anymore. You know, now that I’m not a bride. I cut myself off from Weddingbee several weeks before the wedding, and have not really looked at it much since then. Same goes for the other bridal sites that I used to visit…but there are a few that I still take a peek at every once in a while.

Pink Posh Photography is one of those sites. Truly, their work is amazing and sometimes just takes my breath away. I stumbled across this wedding the other day (now that I'm on partial bed rest with LOTS of time on my hands!) that they covered several months ago and had to share the pictures with you. Of course, these are just my favorites and you should totally go to their blog and check out the rest!

Love, love, LOVE her shoes!I love her color choices…probably not colors that I would have ever thought to put together, but they totally work together! Just shows the "shortness" of my own vision!And paired with something as simple as hypercium berries for the boys, the colors for the girls "pop" that much more!

Featured Wedding - Brooke and Preston

"Once in a blue moon, Thurst and I actually get to forego a drive to Houston and shoot a wedding in our town, Austin. :) Brooke and Preston got married in Austin on Saturday to glorious rainfall. It was much needed rain since Austin has been in a horrible drought...and although it wasn't ideal for this couple who had an outdoor wedding planned at the rose garden area of Zilker Botanical, it made for pretty rain pictures afterwards. :) Brooke is also a photographer herself: http://www.brookewestphotography.com/ so it was easy for me to get the shots I needed and wanted for/from them...and plus they gave us plenty of time for them! LOVE THAT! And stalkers, can I tell you guys that I love Brooke+Preston's family. They have the most wonderful family! And I think Brooke+Preston's wedding was the first wedding that we've had so far where the groom's mom admitted to being a blog stalker (HI ANGIE) and the bride's dad made me absolutely blush with all his compliments over the images we've shot. Thank you for that! It's much appreciated. :) So, without further ado...because I know Brooke+Preston's family is eager to see some images from Saturday's wedding....

"Kathy has had her session booked since forever it seems like...and with some last minute date shuffling, we were finally able to confirm a session date for her and Randy! I had them meet up at my house since I wanted to take them to some of my favorite spots in Austin (and no, it's not back at Hey Cupcake..but I was tempted just a smidge.). But Kathy had left it up to me to choose the spots, locations...and just do what I want - which may or may not be the best idea. I'm sure Kathy's bridal consultant is going to faint when she sees all the dust/sand on Kathy's dress...but better than grass and dirt stains right? :) Plus, dust shakes right out. :)
Stalkers, I would like for you to meet the lovely Kathy, Randy and my baby blue Paul Frank cruiser. :)"

Featured Wedding - Stacy and Ricky

Oh my goodness, get ready for some eye candy overload...SERIOUSLY...there were just TOO many great pictures to cut them out for our Featured Wedding today! Pink Posh Photography brings us our fix for the day, and they come through with flying colors once again. Check out what Pink Posh had to say about this wedding:

"I first met Stacy a LONG LONG LONG time ago. By long, I mean over two years ago? She came by way of one of her bridesmaid, Suzanne, who was and still is a loyal blog stalker. I'm not sure anyone can top this girl...but I'm glad that Suzanne introduced Stacy and I - as well as introduced Cat and Kristine to me, because I've gotten the chance to shoot some of my favorite images in my portfolio with both of these couples. :) I had no idea then that Stacy and Ricky would have an amazing, crazy and definitely one of the most adventurous wedding we've ever gotten to shoot. It all started with some flowers catching on fire on one of the table...(no one noticed...but Thurst ran to the rescue and basically saved Hotel Derek :oP). Then we had a groomsman dancing on a table....followed by a bridesmaid...and then the groom...all at the same time, totally unaware that the table cloth was slipping off inch by inch. I watched a catering staff try to not look worried...but failing miserably. When all three finally got off the table...I could almost hear the hotel staff breath a sigh of relief...and up to that point, I didn't realize I was also holding my breath the entire time this was going on. :) But really, isn't that what makes a wedding so wonderful? All those moments of holding your breath, waiting and watching while something fantastic is about to take shape? Stalkers, meet Stacy+Rick. Suzanne nicknamed them "Sticky." Sorta like an homage to Brangelina..."

Now, without any more talk from me...I know that I said no more from me, but seriously, that picture is AMAZING...makes me want a classy hotel with shiny floors for my own wedding!

LOVE the pop of hot pink in everyone's flowers...Some details...Yep, the secret's out...now you all know why I loved this wedding...purple tablecloths...with pops of hot pink...can anyone say my colors?
